My heart has been asking me for a change. In the last year, I have been craving a new spin in my music that accurately represents how I feel in this stage in my life. This song represents the inner part of me that has been longing to dive into the colors and sounds of what makes me love pop music. Porque Podíamos was born through the exploration of my inner voices that were telling me to change my perspective on how I write my music and how I want my music to represent me. This music video is the story of the inner part of each of us that is confident, bold, fun, and creative. It’s the part of yourself that drives you to thrive in everything you do, cheers you on without judgement, and always looks out for you no matter what. Listening to that voice in me has been so empowering. I couldn’t think of a better way than this video and song for me to enter into this new stage of my musical journey.

Mi corazón había estado pidiéndome un cambio. En el ultimo año me he dado a la tarea de serle fiel a esa voz de cambio y creatividad para encontrar de qué manera pudiera mi música representar esta etapa de mi vida. Esta canción representa la parte de mí que durante algún tiempo ha querido empaparse de los sonidos y colores que me hacen amar la música pop. “Porque podíamos “ nació de ese experimento en donde tuve que recrear mi forma de escribir canciones y darle luz a esa voz que me pedía hacer cosas nuevas, sin miedo. A través de este video musical quise contar la historia de la parte dentro de nosotros que es creativa, segura, divertida y que existe sin miedo. Esa parte de nosotros que busca alentarnos a tomar riesgos a pesar de las dificultades sin juzgar. Escuchar esa parte de mi que busca renovarse me ha dado gran alivio y me ha hecho sentir mejor que nunca. Esta canción es sin lugar a duda una gran introducción a esta siguiente etapa de mi historia musical.
